While I was sitting here in college waiting for someone to pick me up, I thought it might be a good time to update my blog.

Just to defend myself, I've already done a bit of studying and did what I was supposed to do for my OBU today.

And now I have some time left with nothing better to do.

I guess a Happy New Year! is a good place to start..

my apologies, dear blog, for having forgotten about you.

but things have been on fast forward really.

the 3 weeks of break flew past.

and its already been 3 weeks into my 3rd year of university.

but I guess I could say the break was a pretty good one.

I went to many places, met with many people, and did quite some things.

which I can't seem to remember at the moment.. wth..

so the latest is that I went for a concert saturday night!

and am I glad I did.

considering it was free vip passes and all, me and jia li decided to go, despite not really liking the band.

it was ft island's live at stadium negara.

it was really good!

those guys can really play and sing well.

and them struggling with english was really cute too.. haha..

and I'm quite addicted to alot of their songs now, the ones I could find anyway. lol.

I now have 3 weeks to enjoy and do everything I want to do before I go into the professional level. Where hopefully I will act professionally and study properly. Instead of doing the same old stupid last minute thing like I did for the exams that just finished.

Anyway, I don't want to think about studies for the next 3 weeks. X]

So, got a bit of scare last night from my appa. But he's fine now and I'm happy.
*big smiles*

And so the break shall continue uneventful now. Which is a good thing.

Jas came over yesterday. And I had the nicest time talking to her. And as usual she gave me lots to watch. =D
But unfortunately due to her exams, we can't go out like planned. College is just ruining everything for me and her. Its soo hard to see each other nowadays.

Went to the mph carnival with my amma and younger sisters on saturday. They had more non book related stuff than books. My mom bought some new kinda coffee that they were promoting. Its a coffee lover thing, I wouldn't understand, as I moved to tea a long time ago. But I did buy Girl In The Mirror by Cecelia Ahern. It was 25% off. I wanted to buy her new one as well, but couldn't find it. And there were lots of Sidney Sheldon, and I didn't know which to buy, so i didn't buy any.

I still have all those books I bought from big bad wolf, so I didn't regret my lack of book purchase. I saw ikemen desu ne at speedy though, so I bought that. Hikaru <3 And my amma bought irish potato for my sisters and me. Yumm..

Technically that's all I have to talk about. Everything else before that was all go to college, study 8 to 8, go home, sleep. And still I feel like I totally screwed all 3 papers.. Dear god, please help me. I wouldn't mind another 2 months of being vegetarian.

This friday I have a shopping date with jia li. And we're planning to watch arthur christmas. That is all I have to look forward to this week. And there's that dreadful obu briefing on the same day. Gah..

Oh well, I've got lots of reading to do.

everytime i feel think i should update this thing, i have nothing to talk about..

after i heard your life plan, i realise you clearly deserve to be where you are right now..

so ya anyway, she invited the whole bunch of us from A3 over for dinner last last sunday..

and on her account i got to see all my dear dear friends who i havent seen for ages..i'm literally talking close to 2 years..

and we got to catch up..all the what are you doing nows, and what nexts and randoms..

i really feel we didnt have enough time together..it was like i went there and 10 minutes later my parents were already there to fetch me..

i'll always be my introvert self.
but i do admit, i learnt alot from the 2 classes.
maybe i'll be able to think from different points of view from now on.

i have alot to write about, coz i was gone for more than a month.
first off, siva anna's wedding.

it was a very tight 5 day trip to india, but it was good fun.
i met alot of my family members that i havent seen in super long.
aiyas, aayas, periammas, periappas, mamas, mamis, athais, annas, annis, akkas, ...

went to lots of villages, wore pretty clothes and got all sweaty in them coz it was super hot, ate lots of food, got very sick, bought a new phone.

i shall just post pictures as i dunno what else to say.

i have finally come to report about my day out watching chelsea play..
=)
i had lots of fun..

rushing after class to get to the lrt station, getting stuck in the jam, running to the lrt station from the middle of the road coz the cars just refused to move, getting on the lrt, getting squished by ppl on the way to masjid jamek, finally getting off, running up to find me sister, find her then went to the other line, greeted by lots of mat salleh chelsea fans with chelsea cheers(chelsea chelseaaaa!!), got on the train and then got squished some more by lots of chelsea fans, struggled to get out of the train at bukit jalil, pushing through crowds to find our way to the entrance, stopping to buy chelsea good on the way, entered stadium, happily found front seats, realised we were among lots of malaysian supporters, got hyped up by all the 'kompangs', watched the players train, waited, the game started, got hyped up everytime the ball came or went to either goals, halftime, watched the rest of the players train, game continued, got hyped up again, got stuck under the huge malaysian flag they were passing around, drogba scored, game ended, waved happily at the chelsea players when they came to our side, left the stadium, pushed through crowds to get to the lrt station, finally got in, tried and failed to call my parents who were supposed to fetch us at masjid jamek(lines couldn't get through), got pushed/dragged towards the platform, got squished into the train(i've never been soo grateful for my height, when i got to stick my head upwards to get some air), reached masjid jamek, found our parents, happily ranted about the game with the parents who had also watched the game at home, got home, gulped down lots of cold water, went to bed.

next morning i had class again. i was exhausted, but a very happy girl.

on another high note, japan won the womans world cup!

congratulations!! they totally deserve it, after what they've been through..i'm really happy for them. =D

saw the advert for the MTV Video Music Aid Japan Awards 2011 on mtv over the weekend.

its sad that the johnny's boys never take part in all these kinda things..

but i guess its good in a way, no competition btw the johnny's bands.

i still can't wait to watch it though..

i kinda like akb48, coz they're the only japanese girl band really making it big..

their songs are catchy, nice if you like the anime type of music, and the main girls who always go on the variety shows are really funny..

i'm only looking forward to one category though, best video from a film, coz flumpool's nominated for their song kimi ni todoke, from the movie kimi ni todoke.

i'm also looking forward to exile's performance..

i had a really good weekend.

=)

hung out with kim saturday at pyramid..

she belanja'd me ajisen, super late bday treat she tells me.

x-men is definitely a must watch, btw.

(now i just need to watch super 8 and kung fu panda)

it was actually priya's bday that day as well, so i wished her in the morning and told her to tell me when she's free so we could go out makan or something..

she calls me and asks if i can go over that evening..

then after working it out with my parents, got the ok to go to priya's aunts place..

catching up, trying to fix the hdmi cable to the tv and dvd player, pigging out on dominos, hiding in the room while her relatives started coming over, getting bullied by her 3 year old cousin, it was fun.. =)

then sunday, went out shopping with my amma and sisters..

2 cousin brothers getting married, so we need pretty pretty clothes..

and it was fathers day too, on sunday..

appa had to go to melaka as usual..

so we all got up extra early to wish him and give him presents, card, etc..

i washed his car for him too..

=)

sometime in the afternoon, i watched insidious. got creeped out over the weird story.its definitely different..(you must watch it to get it)

i hope there's an insidious 2, there has to be, the way they ended it..

then to divert my mind, started watching liar game, jdrama.

went for dinner that night with relatives.

once again, we were all there till the waiters and all started cleaning up, preparing to close the shop..lol.

watched the re run of running man..got a stomach ache after laughing so much and then went to bed.

and that was what my weekend was like.

after a long hiatus, i am back..

exams finished, not on a good note, sad to say..

i'm postive i screwed all 3 papers i sat for.

i can only blame myself, the cold that made me go blank a bunch of times in the exam hall, the cold that made me shiver so much i couldn't write properly and MYSELF..

time to start praying for super nice examiners, who are in the best possible mood when they mark my paper.

lol.

and i foresee a super packed semester break.

i've got work at my dad's office..

a whole bunch of outings planned.

and catch up sessions with all the drama i missed..

the last one is probably gonna take most of time..

hehe.

what can i say, i'm addicted.

Takimoto Miori and Johnnys idols to star in Japanese remake of “You’re Beautiful”

It was revealed today that the popular 2009 Korean drama “You’re Beautiful” will be remade in Japan! Set to start airing in July on TBS’s Friday 10pm slot, the remake will star actress Takimoto Miori, Kis-My-Ft2’s Tamamori Yuta, Fujigaya Taisuke, and Hey!Say!JUMP’s Yaotome Hikaru.

The Japanese remake has been in the works since last spring and the story will be based heavily on the original, with the female lead joining the band A.N.JELL while pretending to be her brother and ending up caught in a “love square” with the other three members.

Takimoto, who starred in last year’s NHK Morning Drama “Teppan“, will play the lead in a commercially broadcast drama series for the first time. In one scene in the remake, she will have to cut around 30cm of her long hair. Takimoto remarked, “If I’m going to play a boy anyway, I want to play a good looking guy, and want to be thought of as handsome by my own gender. I hope the guys from Johnny’s will tell me the secret to being seen as handsome and boyish.”

The male leads Tamamori, Fujigaya, and Yaotome are all starring in drama series for the first time.

Tamamori, who will play the role originally portrayed by actor Jang Geun-suk, commented, “In the original series, (Jang Geun Suk’s) facial expressions were vivid, so (I) want to properly do that part.”

Fujigaya and Yaotome commented respectively, “We all want to follow our dream with all our strength so that (the drama) can become a representative work” and “I’m looking forward to the scene where all of us play music together.”

According to a source, many of Japan’s top artists will be making cameos in the drama as themselves, and cameo offers have also been made to the cast of the Korean version. so here's my review to the movie..

Gantz 1.

wicked cool!

i might be biased, so you might not want trust me and go watch it..

i mean, my sister kinda fell asleep during the 2nd half.

i agree it did get a bit draggy then..

but the beginning was funny..

and the action was good.

and they got a bit of sentiments into it as well..

and obviously, NINOMIYA KAZUNARI!

he was great..

but i have to admit the aliens look weird..

and the way they die??

BUT..

I LOVE IT!!

and the ending totally makes you want to watch the next one..

the cat/acca conference that we were all dreading has come and gone.

i feel like an idiot saying this, but i actually had good fun.

actually the forum part in the morning was pretty draggy.

but some of the speakers actually opened my eyes a little.

the food was as expected, okaaaaaayyyy..

and the teambuilding activity after lunch was alot more fun that i expected it.

i did things i never thought i would ever do.

(except for the part where i didn't eat the bread worm, but you are looking at a girl who doesn't even eat sushi coz its raw, how the hell am i gonna eat a live wiggling thing??)

i talked to people i usually walk past inside campus.

i did the chicken dance on stage in front of 100s of people.

hopefully this has made me a better person.

coz trainer says we have, based on what he saw.

and we accountants are not square people, we are pretty round after all.

JEALOUS!!!

everyone who got their license after me are now probably better driver's than me because their parents trust them with the car alot more than my parents do with me.

i really think i'm quite ok on the road la, thanks to the existence of automatic cars.

but i don't know when they are gonna late me take the car out on my own.

i mean its not like there isn't a free car at home right??

but knowing my parents i'll probably have to wait till my P expires.

i thought life out of school was gonna be tough, but surprisingly i got through it quite ok.
college turned out better than i expected of it.
there were ups and down, here and there, but i managed to get through it i suppose.
i made good friends in college.
i managed to keep close with old friends, despite the time clashes and what not.
i screwed up in many things.
i don't know if i managed to redeem myself for all those, but i think i'm at an ok position for now.
i guess new year means new resolutions, but since i never follow mine, i shall not make any.
i just want good results for my exams.

finally, i have motivated myself to post about my bali trip.
here goes.

day 1.
We left to klia at about 1pm, and after a huge delay we managed to get seats on the flight. It was a super full flight, so we were all separated. But i had appa and my sister near me so it was ok i suppose. The cute little kid in front of me totally made the whole 3 hours journey for me. That and the fact that they gave us haagen daaz in the flight..

In Bali, we got through immigration super fast. Got welcome garlands from the Balimas Co. , our tour agent. Went to the hotel, Inna Putri Bali and checked in. After that our tour guide brought us to this beautiful beachside restaurant where we had seafood dinner. I'm no fan of seafood, but i enjoyed that dinner. It was good. Had clams for the first time, and it was quite ok. Technically we didn't do much in Bali this day, coz we reached quite late.

day 2.
It rained like crazy on this day. Woke up at 6, coz we had a full day ahead of us. Had breakfast at the hotel, the basic croissants, eggs, bread, kuihs and all. Left the hotel at about 8.30 and our first destination was the Barong & Kris dance. It was about this Indonesian legend i guess, i didn't really get it myself. Then we went to a batik factory/showroom. Saw loads of pretty batik paintings, bags, clothes and all, that were way too expensive for our likings. We went to the Gold and Silver Smith next. Again, saw alot of pretty jewelry that was much too expensive.

Then we drove to Kintamani, which is on the hilly side of Bali, and saw this volcano. We had lunch at this restaurant with a super view. After lunch we went to a Coffee and Cocoa Plantation. Its called Amertha Yoga. They mixed a lot of tasters for us. We ended up buying the ginger cocoa drink, pure cocoa, ginger lime and my mom bought a whole bunch of organic spices.

We stopped at a market on the way and bought this huge butterfly kite. we also stopped at a wood carving centre. Saw people polishing wood deco's. And once again, loads of expensive stuff furniture, ornaments, etc.

Since our family, we're vegetarian on monday we asked for veg food for the day. So we ate this restaurant that apparently specialises in vegetarian food. It was nice, despite my anti-vege self, i actually ate my food.

Back at the hotel, my sisters and i switched our shoes for flip flops and walked to the beach behind the hotel. It is SUPER CLEAN!! it was like dark already, so the tide was pretty high, hence we just wet our feet and didn't really go in. I can't swim, X].

day 3.
Our free and easy day. We were gonna go to the beach in the morning, but guess what??
It was raining. We went to the town instead. At this place called Kumbasari Market, we made up for the shopping we didnt do the day before coz it was too expensive. The prices at this market was like 10times cheaper. We were stuck there for awhile coz of the rain. Eventually we left and went to an indian restaurant, since my grandpa insisted on indian food. thanks to the horrific trafic in the town, we got back to the hotel pretty late in the evening. My sister's couldn't get her spa treatment coz out tour guide was picking us up about an hour after that. So i sat in the hotel room instead and read Time Traveller's wife to waste the time. At 5, we went to a bunch of factory outlet stores, Billabong, etc. Prices weren't to our liking, so we left and went to a place called Agung Bali. That place is CHEAP! Bought more stuff there. And for dinner we had ayam bakar. That night we decided to go to the beach for good. Main-main there for abit, then we washed off the sand and went to the pool. Total mat salleh hangout, but we went anyway. And that ended day 3.

day 4.
We woke up early on this day so that we could walk to the beach and take some pictures in daylight. Went for breakfast and took more pictures around the hotel area. Went to a Sanur Beach at 10am. Went on the Glass Bottom Boat ride, fed fishes and went to the Turtle Island. But there is more there than just turtles. Hornbills, Eagles, Chickens, Iguanas, Bats, Snakes, etc. There was even a chicken fight. After we were done there, we went to the Ulu Watu Temple, a Hindu Temple. They kept warning us about wild monkeys here, so we took off our earrings, left our bags and even hid cameras when we were there. But they seemed alright to me, you don't disturb it, it doesn't disturb you. Went to a GWK for lunch. Saw Vishnu and Garuda statues there. They were all half done, coz apparently they ran out of money while doing it. My sister, appa and aiya got foot reflexology, me and amma stayed back. Painful la.

After that we headed towards Tanah Lot, another temple. Its beachside, so we were supposed to catch the sunset there. Once again, thanks to the traffic, we only got there at like 7. Bye Bye sunset. It was super crowded with the tourists and locals and all. Lots of shops, we bought more stuff. Went back to Denpasar for dinner. Padang food. GOOD!! When we got back to the hotel, we sat and packed. We were leaving the next day.

last day. we had breakfast at the hotel, and then went to the airport. Checked in and had like 2 hours left. We decided to finish all our rupiah on duty free shopping. And finally boarded the flight. Much bigger plane this time. had a comfortable trip back.

i have happily gone and returned from the beautiful bali..

i saw lots of traffic, like 3 hours on the road kind..

lots of rain, technically everyday i was there..

but then i also saw very pretty scenaries..

tons of mat salleh's

very good looking ones..

and i stayed at a really cool hotel called inna putri bali, which apparently is 5star..

everybody there were super nice..

and my parents gave my sister and i 1million ruppiah to share..

millionaires..

i actually wrote down everything i did there properly, so i could blog about it later, but we still haven't uploaded the pictures, so i'll post a proper blog about our trip when i have the pictures..

as for now, i'll enjoy being back at home and being the couch potato i am whenever i have holidays or breaks..

my hsj dvd FINALLY came..

i ordered it way back in october..

but apparently it got lost in transaction, so the play asia people gave me a refund and then i reordered, paid for fedex shipping, and finally got it, one week before exam..

soo what does the good girl me do??

leave it till after exam to watch..

and finally i watched it last night..

after exam..

its hsj, so i have to watch it on the big screen, hd and all..

soo i shooed my mom and sisters to the tv upstairs and hogged the main tv..

but my dad was still there reading the newspaper..

and he was completely amused at my singing along with 10 japanese guys self..

haha..

what can i say, i'm hooked..

maybe after i save up some more, i'll buy the mcfly dvd pulak..

but mcfly running around as vampires doesnt sound very appealing, even to a die hard mcfly fan as myself..

and english dvds are way more expensive than japanese ones..

ohhh, let me rant about hsj a little bit more..

which i completely did not realise till i saw the romaji lyrics, and then listened to the song again, and then noticed how weird it sounds when japanese guys say terima kasih..

i had a really good 2 and half day weekend..

friday afternoon i finally watched 'kaiji the ultimate gambler'.

that movie is good.

its kinda slow at places, but good.

and i'm almost done with my sidney sheldon book.

the book also, is really good, i just haven't finished it yet coz i haven't had the time to read..

whatever you predict is gonna happen just doesnt happen..

then saturday..

i started watching my sisters box set of one tree hill season 7.

i finished till ep 9..

in the evening my mom and i went to jaya 33 to do some grocery shopping..

actually i wanted to get marshmallows and my shin ramen, so i bugged her till she said she'd take me..

after jaya grocer went to the temple with my dad, grandpa and younger sisters..

prayed hard for my t8..

when we got home from the temple, my sister was at home with my code blue dvd's..

=)

i've watched 2 eps soo far..

interesting.

its kinda like the japanese grey's anatomy i guess, i wouldnt know though coz i dont watch grey's..

and finally sunday came.

girls day in with zara and jas at zara's place..

at around 11, i left the house to go to zara's..

i miss her house!!

it was soo much fun hanging out with those 2..

we talked, alot..

we watched 2 movies, one thriller and one comedy.

we painted our nails(me and jas pretty badly, zara very nicely)

we ate our marshmallows dipped in chocolate..

we had chicken rice that her mom bought for us..

and we had secret recipe cakes that her dad bought for us..

even zara's parents were all you girls should do this more often..

all in all, one good girls day in..

the next one is in jaspreets place..

then mine..

anyway.

drove home, with a very quite sister next to me..

she was too engrossed in her texting to bother about my driving, which was good, coz i got to drive in peace.

after we got home, amma and my sisters went to klang..

while i sat at home and watched dark water..

then i lazed around some more, till 9.30 for the commonwealth opening ceremony..

it was really good overall, if you cut out the part where they introduced all the countries and the speeches..

those parts were just too long.

but then yea, everything else was really good.

the performances were AWESOME..

and AR Rahman performed too..

i was kinda half asleep when he came on, soo i didnt really watch properly, but even then i can tell you it was good.

i'll go home later and watch the repeat..

and that concludes my weekend..

the photobook that i was planning on buying from yesasia, but was out of stock, was on the racks of kinokuniya.

and it was cheaper too..

prized possesion..it comes with a dvd too..=)

they had the other photobook too, but i was pretty limited on cash.

the more money you bring into klcc the more risky your budget gets..

so yes, i've left tabs on many stuff there..

maybe over time, i'll somehow buy them all, given they are all still there.

i even sat and read stephanie meyer's new book, the second short life of bree tanner..

good thing i read it there and didnt buy it..

paying 50bucks for a short story about a vampire thats gonna die within 3 days, i dont think so..

as for popular, i have a student card, so buying books there is quite reasonable..

i get most of my storybooks and college stationary from there..

popular pyramid also has the cdrama, so i get dvd's and cd's from there too sometimes, its also discounted..

and finally mph..

i go there alot when i go to midvalley..

and its usually with my sister who swipes the card for our purchases there..

a walkway from sunway college to sunway pyramid..

isn't that like a one way road to students cutting class??

but they're making it happen..

not that i'm complaining..

i hate taking the shuttle bus, and i hate walking on the side of the busy roads, or in the back ways that are soo isolated..

as you can see, we just had nothing better to do but walk around the campus taking pictures from different angles..

we had a hour and a half to kill..

and with the new timetable change, i will now have full mondays and tuesdays..

same old 3 hour wednesdays..

thursdays with a massive 4 hour break in between..

and no class fridays..

i'm actually pretty ok with the changes..

i sit in college till 8 almost everyday anyway, so i dont mind the extra 3 hours of class on mondays and tuesdays..

as for the long break on thursday, we just have to switch our friday pyramid outings to thursdays..

and who wouldnt like a long weekend right..

soo i'm happy with the changes..

today was the most nerve wrecking day in my college life history..

or probably a part of my top 10 most nerve wrecking days in college list.

my june exam results came out today.

my original plan was to wait till class finished at 5.30 before checking my results.

but after seeing all the happy classmates around me, and the over excited jia li bugging us to go check our results..

we made our way to the computer lab..

happy to say i passed all my papers..

called my amma, she was all okok..

and then i guess she told my sister, coz she called me..

and appa texted me, coz he prob knew i had class going on..

i'm soo happy, i'm not even gonna complain about my word to be vegetarian for a month..

but after considering wat jia li said, i'm going to wait till september to start, so i can keep track of my days..

i'm having very mixed feelings about that day actually..

anyway, the usual 6 of us went to pyramid today( where else would we go)

we were all cramped in that myvi..

it was bastiah's treat pre puasa..

and a break from the home-college-home routine..

had subway..

then we randomly walked around looking at random shops..

and randomly bumping into random classmates..

but it was a good outing..

until the point where we came back and found out t6 was cancelled..

we could have stayed in pyramid damn it..

we were literally rushing to get back, so we wouldnt be late for class..

and it was cancelled.

anyway..

if you know me well enough, than you probably know i never really give a good review for any tamil movie..

but recently, meaning yesterday, i watched one that really left an impression..

its called madrasapattinam.

it was set like in the 50's, around the time india almost got its independance, and the english governer's were there..
its about how an indian local falls in love with the governer's daughter..
i know i'm against all the romancy stuff, but this movie was really different..

if you understand tamil, or can get a copy of it with subtitles(i think its playing in some theaters still), you should definitely watch it..

another tamil movie, that has been getting good reviews, and i've seen clips from the rating shows, seems nice..

ok, i had my mind on coming back that sunday night and blogging about my outing with my schoolmates..

but as usual, my plan failed..

i was too tired from all the walking, talking and laughing with my friends..

i finally saw grace after like 3mths..(the last i saw her was way back in march, amidst results stress)

and jas and kim, though i see them almost once every month we still had lots to catch up about..

when you've been friends for soo long, and were soo used to seeing each other like 5days a week, months become really long, no??

but yea, it was fun..

it was like my 2nd time at 1utama..

its not like i saw much the last time i was there.

we ate japanese food, tried shopping for cheap clothes, avoided shoe shops for jaspreet's sake and talked a whole bunch..

grace, i'm happy you're still the same old you..

college didnt change you..

=)

and after my plans with jas to take lots of pictures, we only ended up taking 2..

one with my cam, one with grace's..

and since my sister took the cam before i could upload it, i shall just steal grace's one..

but after that sunday, monday came, back to classes..

the more we start going into the syllabus, the more everything gets complicated..

but i like what i'm learning though..

and all my lecturers this time round seem to be alright..

tax, today especially, was very entertaining..

we sat a little bit more in front than we usually do at the the audi today..

turns out, we can actually pay attention a lot better coz of the shorter distance..

the only downfall, mr.simon keeps looking at you when he's talking about anything..

but learning about wife and husband relief was fun..

i'm sitting in the library with jia li now..

the poor girl's modem has got some problem..

i feel her pain, internet has me failed twice already this year..

and as i was going through all the hsj blogs, i came across one very interesting post..

the one good thing about today..

i got to see all my college friends again..

after 3 weeks.

saw bastiah first..

who brought us cupcakes that she had baked..

i feel bad for not have gone anywhere and bought them anything..

my family, we usually do december holidays..

it was fun catching up with them in between classes..

and also, i saw all my other classmates too..

we arent that close, but it was nice listening to their happy chatter, commenting on everything the lecturer says..

and two 10hour days in a week..

as for korean class, i cant go anymore..

but in my defense, i use the hard ones, that arent rubber like and all, like the soft lenses that most ppl use..

and since i dont really look good in glasses, and my parents agree with me that contacts are better, my dad willingly made time for me this morning to bring me to my eye doctor..

i was shit scared that the doctor was gonna scold me..

coz the last time i went to him after losing my contacts(way back when i was still in primary school), he really really scolded me..

but luckily, he didnt today..

he didnt really react actually..

just checked if my power was the same(it wasnt, left eye went up by 0.35) and called the optician to ask if he had supply for my power(they did, thank goodness)..

than my dad and i, we drove to cheras to collect the lens(in the shiny new bmw, =D)

after which he dropped me off in college..

so that was my first day back in college..

and i'm still here, coz my mom cant fetch me until she drops my sisters off to tuition at 8..

since its the first day, i dont have anything to study either..

please forgive my long post, but i had to find something to do..

i finally got to go to klcc..

soo, thank you DUDE for taking me there..

i still say we should've walked and taken the lrt..

coz RM5.50 for parking is a little too much..

anyway..

we had lunch at burger king..

coz i was paying for lunch, and i insisted on nothing too expensive..

then we went to guardian and bought all the supplies that we needed..

luckily my sister had her card, coz the bill kinda got a bit too high..

then we made our way to kinokuniya..

along the way we saw all the nice(expensive) looking shops, telling ourselves over and over, we're broke, we're broke..

made my way to the manga section..

my mom clearly explained that, though the car is officially for me, its not like i can take it out on my own or anything..

i'd have to get a full approval from her and my dad(my dad thinks i'm alright already, maybe coz he doesnt tell me to go on a specific road, or put the signal or break, like my mom and sister, and just lets me drive)on my driving skills before i can take it out on my own..

and i'm a student, soo i should focus on studies, and shouldnt have to deal with drivers stress just yet..

thats what my mom says..

soo, there is a car to my name, but i cant drive it out on my own..

but i'm already deciding on all the ways to do it up..

i've been buying car accessories from all over..

i'll have to drag someone to digital mall and get myself a modulator soon..

since my last happy post about germany winning 4-0..

unfortunately..

they lost..

against serbia..

and klose got a red card..

i kept thinking, since everybody was going on and on about the super young team that germany have, and how they can perform under pressure, after that 4-0..

that people would start jinxing the team..

and see what happened..

they couldnt take the pressure anymore..

but i'm gonna stay positive..

this blog is soo dead..

and i blame myself for it..

i had exams..

and its like my tradition to ban myself from computers during the exam season..

and i really thank god for convincing me to ban myself..

coz if i had not done that, i would have seen the spotted stuff for t5 online

and like the lazy pig that i am, would've only studied those topics..

meaning, i would've been screwed during today's t5 paper..

but being my appa's daughter, i sat and crammed 20 chapters into my head..

well, maybe not everything of the 20chaps, i might've skipped some here and there..

making notes, in my self decorated hikaru notebook..

like he told me..(the making notes part, not the hikaru notebook part)

soo i wasn't as nervous as i thought it would be..

as usual i blanked out in the beginning..

after seeing all my classmates panicking, trying to put last minute stuff into their head, i tend to panic also..

but again, as usual, i remembered all the stuff at once towards the end, that i was flipping from one page to another trying to put everything down on paper..

while the invigilator guy was going, candidates you have 15 more minutes..

all i want to say, i'm not asking for much..

just give me 50marks, and let me pass..

so that i can carry on peacefully with my 2nd sem..

and cram for those subjects instead..

and as for holiday plans..

i had 3 until an hour ago..

but now i only have 2..

because i had to cancel tmr's 'around kl,via public transport' with my sister..

because my cousin sister is bringing her kid to our house tmr..

but the fact that i have to cancel plans that i have been planning for weeks really does piss me off..

the highlight of my wesak day this year..

the fact that i had no classes..

but i havent been having classes for a while so it wasnt much of a highlight..

our family outing after a while..

the thing about having an accountant father and sister, they're crazy busy all the time..

and sisters who are both still in school, so your timing totally clashes..

and the fact that i have exams, so i have to sit in college till 8.30 everyday studying..(coz obviously i dont do that at home)

soo, yea for us all to go out for a movie was fun..

though, due to last minute planning, and watching it on the release day, we ended up sitting in the first row.

but unlike gsc, tgv cinema's are quite well designed, so my neck didnt ache at all. =)

as for the movie, i only went coz it was a family thing..

seriously, tamil movies are soo stereotype..

same story over and over again..

just change the faces and songs, and voila, its new movie..

and my mom complaints that i'm soo japanese absorbed..

at least they know how to come up with new stories..

and the other thing that made my day yesterday, jaspreets msg's..

ns finally saw some sense and gave their handphones to them for the 3 day weekend..

so did some catching up with her through the night..

why on earth did i mope around yesterday feeling all sorry, i have no idea..

coz its back to square one..

ok soo i screwed up pretty bad last year..
*that i couldnt go to a certain award ceremony that was held in school.

and my parents were sitting in the chairs above me and kept pointing the dslr at me..

soo, we were texting each other out of boredom and commenting about everything that was and wasnt going on around us..
but that lucky girl, managed to slip through the tight supervision at the entrance and left early..

got revision classes again this week, and after that i'll be on study break full time..

the phone guy came and fixed the phone only to tell us that the modem was burnt..

soo i was on the phone for another hour with the tm lady yesterday..

she made me do some troubleshoot despite me telling her it was burnt..

Happy Mother's Day amma..

Its a day late, and my amma will probably not even see this, but i had to write about something..

and the internet is still not working at home..

after 5 days the tm guy finally came only to let us know that there wasnt anything wrong with the cables outside..

soo my mom called our phone guy this morning..

what totally sucks right now..

the fact that there is no internet in house right now..

whether due to the heavy rains, or some stupid construction worker accidentally doing something to the phone wires..

i'll probably know when i go home today..

and something else that sucks also..

plans that i've made with friends since last week are getting ruined because of other people..
who somehow seem to spoil things for me alot since the beginning of the semester..
but i can say anything, because, well, i cant even say why..

yesterday was a day for meeting with old school friends..

accidentally..

first i see gurpreet and suba while waiting for the shuttle bus..

i love pc fairs..

i went to my first one yesterday..

haha, damn lame i know..

but i wasnt really interested in all these stuff when i was still in school.

but the sad thing, i didnt really buy much stuff.

my dad bought a whole lot of calculators for the office staffs.

and kaspersky antivirus..

and i got myself a new thumbdrive..

it is the sandisk one..

30bucks for 4gb is pretty reasonable i think..

or i thought, until we saw the same thing for 29bucks in another booth..

my dad was all, we wasted 2 bucks..

coz we bought 2.

haha..

and i got myself new earphones..

i was gonna buy it myself at first, but since i went to the pc fair with my parents, they paid for it for me.

but i've seen all the prices, and i decided i'd save up till next years pc fair and go splurge then..

so, i'm gonna ask for a new phone next year..

i'll stick to my sony for now..

i have to say, live has been pretty good these last few days.

the other day, my dad bought me a new cd player..

and my scholarship application was accepted by sunway..

its not much but its something..

and i saw a lot leng chai's in the library the whole week..

somehow, lecturers can get away with coming late to class, not coming to class and postponing class.

so yesterday, finally the group of us went to pyramid and watched a movie..

it was for de-stressing ourselves after 4 hours of t3..

since me and celine had to record our ms presentation with jasmine and henrietta, we took a cab to pyramid later, while bastiah, jia li and anusha went there earlier..

celine and i, we reached just in time for the movie at 2.20..

how to train your dragon was such an adorable movie..

mostly funny, and there were some emotional parts to it..

and the scottish vikings accent was the best..

and toothless was sooo cute!!

anyway, after the movie, we went to auntie anne's and bought our pretzels..

then went to the carpark to send bastiah off..

anusha, celine, jia li and i went back up and went to etude house..

damn cheap wei, the things in there..

but ofcourse there was a sale, hence the cheapness..

then went to bonita and cache cache..

even went to that small japanese sweet shop, was gonna but their ice cream on the way back but i forgot..

then anusha had to go back, soo our plans to go to fos and popular kinda got halted..

we walked her to the front, and technically all our parents were on the way so we just stood there..

me and jia li got tempted by starbucks, so we went and got our coffees..

as usual, i was the last to leave..

somehow only my amma manages to get stuck in traffic, while everyone else's mom's seem to make it on time to pick them up..

i wait for almost an hour every single day..sometimes more, sometimes less..but i always wait..

soo, i just carry my t5 around, and read while waiting..

then after fetching me, we endured more traffic and made it to klang to visit my adorable little nephew, shantenu..

and i have a new best friend now..

came home close at 10.30ish..

since i went to college at 8 in the morning, i literally was exhausted, my eyes were closing by themselves..

woke up at 9ish..

coz my phone rang..

one from my sister, asking me to clean our room, coz her friends were coming over in the evening..

that indian cultural night in college is tonight..i'm going also..

the other msg was from jia li, saying that our yesasia stuff had arrived..

first of all i regret not praying soo much like jia li and asking for more calculation questions..

coz i ended up with 85% theory..

today was one of those days where i got to chat with some old familiar faces..

sunway had its march intake orientation today..

and JESSICA WONG has enrolled..

she texted me, and i went to see her after her orientation thing finished..

we were both reminiscing our 7A's and talked for abit..

she applied for the entrance scholarship also..

then she had to leave..

but we made lunch plans..

dunno when but soon..

now grace has to join taylor's lakeside, and the 3 of us can do our lunch date like we planned way back in one of the moral classes..

sat in class after that and watched jed teaching chitra and henrietta..

while celine kept interrupting.. =D

anusha's boyfriend suddenly came and sat with her in our class..

then i went and joined jasmine in the library..

we completed our ms presentation..

now we just have to present it tmr, and we'll be done.

at 5.30, while i was waiting for my mom..

heard prabha's voice, turned around and saw him yelling to his friend standing in the 2nd floor above the foyer..

he was going on about some bio test, asking what that guy got..

looked up and saw a very good looking guy yelling back to prabha, that he got very low..

then his friend went somewhere and prabha finally realised i was standing there and said hi..

ended up talking crap with him, as usual..

he failed his driving test the first time, and had to retake it..

HAHA!!

i passed it first time yo..

while talking to him, i was thinking, i should hang with prabha more, then maybe i can get to know his good looking friend.. X]

then he went back..

giving me a cheeky smile, while his father got out of the drivers seat and let prabha drive back..

then my mom finally came, i got in the car, and ...

my mom asked me if i had my license with me..

and i quickly looked at the front screen, and saw the P sticker there, waiting for me to get on on the drivers side and drive.

i literally yelled YES!!

switched places with amma, and i drove back..

automatic cars are awesome..

no freaking clutch to worry about..

the roads were kinda traffic-fied, but i was alright, i didnt bang any car, and no one horned at me, and my mom didnt make that many complaints or comments..

and arashi's new single troublemaker also..

its actually quite reasonable, the price..

and she didnt mind, coz if you buy over a certain limit its free shipping..

and shipping costs quite a bit..

so in about 3 weeks, i'll have my first 2 japanese cd's..

and the plan is still on..

that me, jia li and bastiah(so far, hopefully the others join us also) make a trip to korea and japan after our acca..

but jia li might go this june itself..

and my parents wont even say yes to me for a trip to singapore with my friends..

but 3 years from now, hopefully they wont be as protective and strict and lemme go on a trip around the world with my friends..

i say around the world coz we wanna go to europe as well..germany and uk!!

i've already started saving..

now i just have to make sure i dont spend it on too many cd's and clothes and all..

i might be able to convince my parents to pay for my airfare and accommodation, but spending money, i need lots.. =)

amidst all the other stuff going on last week..

i completely forgot to mention the good news..

i have my driver's license!!

and i would elaborate on my test day, but seriously i was a terrified, nervous wreck that day, so i'd rather not..

and anyone else going for your test anytime soon, please pray that you are one of the first ones up..

coz i was the last person on my test day, and the jpj guy was in a shit mood i tell you.

and i understand why, i mean if i had to sit through all the inexperienced drivers the whole day, i would get pissed also..

but had he failed me, i would probably be dissing him right now..

and about my cat exam, it got postponed..

i keep asking myself, why do i have to be such an imbalanced scale..

on one side i can get A+ for subjects like maths, addmaths and english..

but on the other side i get stupid B+'s for bio, hist and bm..

why can't i be on par with everything..

why couldn't those A+'s be just A's and the B+'s be an A-..

why, why, why..

right now, i feel very stupid, because i seemed to have done the worst out of all my friends, old and new..

the only bright side to my results, my A in accounts..

after 7months of cramming 2 years worth of syllabus(i even failed my trials, goddamit, and started freaking out with my sister aka my acc's teacher), an A is more than what i would have asked for..

but with bio, hist and bm, i studies for 2 whole years, and yet i got a B+..

and to think i was only one bloody grade away..

I AM REALLLY VERY ANNOYED AT MYSELF!!!

which brings me back to WHY????

why am i only good at calculative things??

but after ample support from my deardear family and friends, i have decided to move on.

but honestly speaking, i think i have cried enough for the whole year..

the fact that everyone was being soo understanding, and not scolding me because i screwed up, made me cry even more.

the point is though, i have what i need to go on my chosen career.

i just have to accept the fact that i can only be good at one thing, and that science just isn't the thing for me.

and another bright side to results..

i dont have to sit for t1, coz i have my A in accounts..

and i just might be able to be exempted from csb1 coz i have an A1 in my 1119(GCE-O)..

so now my goal is to show everyone, who might've been talking behind my back that i can do it, by ace-ing my cat and then acca with flying colours.

after all its the only thing that i seem to be good at..

according to my dad, next week will be a very eventful week for me.

according to me, it'll be one of the most stressful weeks yet..

on monday, 8th, i have my driving exam.

on thursday, 11th, spm results are coming out.

on saturday, 13th, my t1 and t2 cat exam.

but hopefully(crossing my fingers, toes and everything else i can cross) i will get my A for accounts and i can be exempted from t1.

i am freaking out more and more by the minute.

yest when i went to klang, my aunt was all, meenu will get 10A's for sure one, i guarantee..

but only i know how badly i did.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE!!

and HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!

i spent yesterday with 3 of my good friends..

and my sisters..

first i studied t1 with chitra..

my sister taught her, while i did questions.

then i went to midvalley with jas and chhavi.

we watched percy jackson..

it was good!!

i'm into all the harry potter-y fantasy stuff, so i enjoyed it.

and logan learman is HOT!!

and then chhavi left, so me and jas just randomly walked around..

i decided not to spend money.

i even had that coupon what not for my ticket.

so i literally didnt spend at all.

i came home and watched lovely bones.

its a bit slow, but it was different, so i liked it.

and then i sat and finally finished twenties girl by sophie kinsella..

somehow that book seemed kinda like one of cecelia ahern's books.

all the weird sorta imaginary characters, but they are actually there, but only the main character can see and talk to them.

but then again, i like those type of things, so i liked it also.

i just took soo long to read it coz i had college and all the revising to do.

and i finally finished watching ohitorisama over the weekend..after soo long..

that was a funny one.

i really really really really really really really really really really really really really really want my license so i can drive myself around already.
being a 2nd child isn't all that bad.
except the biggest con, you're never first priority.
actually it doesnt have anything to do with being the 2nd child.
it has something to do with having super busy and super generous(to verybody else) parents.
my class finished at 4.30 today, and on any other day my mom comes at 5..
but since i'm used to waiting, i dont complain much.
but today, she comes at 6bloody30..
i had to endure 2hours of bloody coldness in the library because she had to fetch some random relatives from the airport.
so though i hate going for driving classes, i would much rather sit through those long hours and get my license and then drive myself around, instead of enduring long hours waiting for people to come get me, even if they are my parents whom i love very much.

for a few days there, i literally forgot all about my blog..
sorry dear blog, i will update as often as possible in the future..
college really has been draining all my energy.
since the last i updated, i had a lot more classes, i sat for my first progress test, and met up with 3 of my besties from school.
happy to say i passed my progress test..
not as well as some of my other classmates, but i am happy with what i got.
as long as they don't bar me due to failure, i'm fine.
right now i'm stressing coz my dad, who was supposed to do that bank draft thing for my CAT examination payment, hasnt done it yet.
as usual, his work got in the way, and now the banks are closed.
and the deadline for payment is tmr.
my mom was all, aiya, dont worry la, we have the whole of tmr to get it done(obviously those werent her exact words), but its in my nature to stress over the smallest things.

anyway, i finally know how to play snooker.
learnt it over the weekend when i went out with 2 of my besties and their boyfriends..
well, one is a boyfriend, the other one is still on the pending, even i'm not sure..
but yea, they thought me how to play pool.
and i saw another bestie also, as usual we talked all sorts of japanese crap..
most of em are working now..
call center attendants and junior photographers.
i have to wait till who knows when to start working.
(praying hard that its 3years as promised)
must work hard.
the next progress test is next weekend.
4th and 5th to be precise..
damn, its really hectic, you have to keep revising, not like school, where you only study every 3 months once for the tests and exams.. X]

as far as i see it, this is a good thing, because i see my sister, and she seems to be at her happy place now that she's done with acca and is working.
and for sure i know i wouldn't have been any happier doing something science.
so though i wasted almost 2 years studying things i wasnt really interested in, i'm fairly happy studying what i'm studying now.
its kinda hard, but since i have my own personal teacher at home..

college life is actually not soo bad.
not looking into the fact that i have a really packed timetable, worse than school.
i actually think i'll survive.
i have really nice classmates.
though i do miss my crazy, noisy, but totally awesome classmates.
both the a3 and sc2 bunch.
this class is a lot more quiet.
but the lecturers seem to think that we're quiet only because we havent gotten to know each other yet.
which is probably true.
i know about 60% of the class now.
which is a big number for me.
coz if you know me, than you know i'm more the don't talk to new people easily type.
and i have nice lecturers.
they all have their pros and cons, but as long as i understand them and what they're teaching i guess i'll be fine.
its alot nicer not doing biology. haha.
and i like the papers that i'm taking.
or what i know of it soo far anyway.
campus is nice.
you could say spacious.
most of the rooms are bloody cold.
we have good toilets, unlike school. =D
cafeteria food is kinda expensive, but if you look really hard, there are cheaper things that you can find.
we have this food court kinda place, 'the medan' just outside campus, and the food there is cheap.
not to mention pyramid, with free shuttle buses to and fro..
though time is really wasted waiting for the bus.
so ya, college wouldnt be so bad.
though it would be a lot better if everyone stops telling me how hard cat and acca is.
