yesterday's YTL's Earth Hour celebration at Starhill Gallery was great..They switched off most of the lights, but it was the pitch black i was expecting to see, but none the less, it was switched off..

Met with chew at school at around 5, and then her mom drove, us and mal to starhill..actually, there was its own entrance, but we werent aware of that, so we ended up walking through JW Marriot.. memories..i still remember last year..

Found the Shook Restaurant downstairs, where the event was to be held..called Mdm Shanthy, who wasnt there yet, and told us to get registered with a huey min, not the one from our school, another one, but huey mint from school also came last night..so we saw that huey min, and she gave wrist bands..then they just told us to hang around, coz they didnt need us yet..so we went and found this really nice sofa to sit on, which was actually reserved for the press, but since they werent any press there at the time, we just sat anyway.

mdm shanthy came..and denise came too..we practically were just wasting time, coz they said they wanted to rehearse the awards for later..so while all the musical acts were doing sound check and all that, we just got an earlier show..it was funnier during soundcheck though, coz they were all making funny sounds, checking the echos and sounds all over..and afiqah's crush, jes ibrahim was there earlier for sound check too..got some pictures to show her.

then finally our rehearsals came, which was actually them explaining to us, that we walk on stage take the cheque and they take pictures..they gave us goody bag, with a sandwich and water bottle inside..that was our dinner..pretty filling though.

then at 7.45, we went back to the main area, and sat down on the floor..The Green Ribbon Awards were the first last night..by that time huey mint from school had come, so we left her to sit there with the bgas, while we all went on stage to receive the RM2000 cheque. That was something new all together for me..i experienced my first paparazzi moment..the flash was literally blinding..but from my class picture experience, i told myself not to blink..

so when that was done, we went back down to enjoy the rest of the night, which was actually very entertaining. The hosts were deborah(miss malaysia, last year or the year before not sure), and stephanie chai(she's a host on many malaysian reality series)..it was close to 8.30 then so, to waste time, they got that girl from amazing race(pamela or something??)to talk to the crowd..then when it about 10 minutes before, this girl dresses up as mother earth came on stage to lead the countdown, along with alot of kids dressed up as trees..so the countdown was done, and the lights were turned off one by one..

when the lights were off, ruth went up on stage to give her speech..then malaysia first space traveller came on stage to talk to the crowd..the way the kids were screaming for him, you would've thought he was some rockstar or something..poor denise, she almost got trampelled by the photogs when he came off stage to take pictures with those kids..after his speech, Sean Ghazii and Deanne Yusoff came and sang a few songs..they were really good, its just that i didnt recognize the song they were singing and i wasnt really into that kind of genre, so i didnt appreciate it as much..After them it was time for the performance i was much looking forward to, Jes Ibrahim and his mates..i tell you they were good..no wonder lisha was going on about him that time.and afiqah is soo in love with him..got a clip of the second song that he performed, since the lights were off, its pretty dark, but you can hear the song, which is really good..he wrote it himself, called Heal the World. Then after his preformance, there was this wayang lampu thing, where this guy came on stage and flung the light bulb on a wire around..chew got some really good shots of this one..go check out her pictures..and when the wayang thing was done, it was time to get the lights back on, coz one hour was up..then we sat around for a little bit more, and the mdm.shanthy said lets go, so we left..

the carpark and that starhill gallery was totally heaven on earth for all the car lovers..got out of the lift place and stared right into this super gorgeous bmw two seater..my car knowledge isnt as good as my dads, or my sisters, so i dunno what model it was, and i didnt check, coz mdm.shanthy was practically runnin to her car and we had to chase after her..she was driving us back to school, and our parents fetched us from there. The car ride with mdm.shanthy was really fun..they way she scolds everyone on the road..'GO HOME PEOPLE!!' X]

so, anyway, my dad was waiting at the busstop in front of school, so i got in and came home..and thats about it..so pictures..

ohnooo, its april next week...shit..midterms in may!!!!bloody hell..
results are mostly out already..i did shitty in some subjects and ok in others..i really have to buck up..but what'll saying that do, if i keep saying i have to buck up, but dont actually do it..haiya, what am i going to do..

so since the last time I blogged, quite some stuff has happened..meaning, this is gonna be one long post..if you wanna read, be my guest, and good luck..

that day, i was talking about the reunion right..or didn't I??anyway, we, the 3A3's of 2007 had yet another reunion of ours on monday, the 16th of march 2009..and as usual, only the usual 10 to 15 ppl came..and me and kom were one of them..it was fun, don't get me wrong..i had a blast..it wasnt much of a reunion though, everyone kinda went their own ways..it was at sunway lagoon. me, kom and debb went at about 1, and met with sonia and all the others there..jess, sheryn, joo ann, lisha, theeba, ratna and a few others..we got our lockers, and changed..debb then went with sonia and all..me and kom, we went ourselfs..at first kom didnt wanna go on all the extreme rides..but i kinda forced her to go on that 360 ship thingie with me..i tell you, it is soo funny to go rides with kom..she gets so freaked out, and screams and makes like this big fuss..yelling and all..she even spit on that poor girl sitting in front her on the ship while screaming..i had a stomach ache from all the laughing..i mean everyone screams out when they go on rides, i laugh..then when we went on the roller coaster, she looked so terrified in the picture and insisted i don't buy it..it was soo funny the picture..kom was with her mouth wide open, freaked out, and i was laughing..we are such opposites..but that was one fun day..we even went on all the kiddy rides..and then also got really wet on all the water slides thing..we bumped into chew, wen yuin, sok yeng and amala..chew, the 3A3, invited the other three..me and kom we were dry when we bumped into them and they weren't, so they came and hugged us and got us all wet, that was when we decided, since we were already wet, might as well go on the wetter rides..and we took pictures at the line for each ride..thing is, it kinda focuses on our faces, so you can't actually see the rides..haha.. X]

ok, moving on..on wednesday, i was supposed to go watch the JB 3D movie with kom right? turns out that fella had to pack for her trip and all that, so I ended up going with kim instead..we were pretty early, so we had a lot of time to go look inside the shops..we were both pretty broke, so we just went there and looked at stuff that we liked and made a list of all the things we wanted to buy..kim was completely in love with half the clothes at nicchi..she wants to buy about 8 stuff from that shop..we both saw this jacket that is really gorgeous..we plan on buying it soon..ate lunch at a japanese shop..yea, me, i ate at a japanese shop..you know that one called ajisen, that you see as soon as you get of the escalator at pyramid, on the way up to the theaters..that one..not bad wei, the food..had chicken teriyaki..and it was cheap too..anyway, the movie..IT WAS GREAT!!! you have to watch it..and 3D, its like the JB guys are right in front of you..and at the end of the movie, kevin goes, 'hey you the one in the red shirt, can I have more popcorn??', and i was wearing a red shirt..haha, coincedence..the music was great, and it was funny..watch it..
then thursday, had tuition at nanda..it was like the usual, studying, laughing..nothing much there..

friday..followed my sister to the office in the morning..i wanted to do my hair for saturday, and my mom was busy..so i had to follow my sister pulak..it was quite cheap at that shop..35 for wash, cut, blow and straighten..and it wasn't half bad..the we went to bangsar..basically did all the last minute things for saturday..

then saturday comes..My Grandpa's Birthday!! went to the Bangsar Sports Complex at round 11am..was there the whole day today..helped decorate the stage and do the table deco..the other decorating people came and put up balloons and stuff..table and chair ppl did the chair covers and table cloths..then followed my dad, and mahes akka to go collect the cake, and some stage deco stuff from mahes akka's house..we came back..and believe it or not, it was already 4.30..then at 5, me and my sis, we went to her friends house, paru to shower and freshen up and all..we came back and it was 6..my amma helped my sister, suba, lani, paru and me with our saris..yesyes, i wore a sari..it was a pain i tell you..and the heels were pretty but killer on the feet..it still hurts..and then everything just kinda flowed on its own..guests started arriving..my sister suddenly put me on ushering duty..but i kinda fell on the stairs that goes to the backstage area..and then i told i didnt wanna do it anymore..it was so painful..falling in a sari, not a very good experience..luckily everything was still in place and no one saw coz the stairs was kinda hidden behind a wall..and kim came..with her mom, dad and brother..i expected her mom, but i didnt expect her brother and dad..but they came..yea!!i actually know quite a lot of people..so many people came over and said hi to me..after i backed out of the ushering thing, i stood at the front table giving sweet packets to the guests, so i saw all the people coming in..on top of all the people that i already knew, my mom kept calling me to introduce me to new people to..and everyone keeps saying i'm the shy person who doesnt go to anything and no one knows me..ha!! Looks like i'm not so shy after all..

By the end of the day yesterday, i was literally dead..according to my dad 90% of the invited guests came..and they told me they invited close to 800 people..waahh, so many people yesterday..after all the guests left, we had to clean up too..so that took us some time..at the end, everyone left in groups in all the cars..finally my dad and I were the last to leave..we were soo thirsty we ended up stopping at 7eleven at 1.30 in the morning an buying slurpee to drink..the guy at the counter must have been thinking what the hell was wrong with me..i was there, in tshirt and jeans( i changed for the cleaning), wearing gold jewelry, all made up, it was 1.30 in the morning and i was buying slurpee..my dad was in the car..

there was soo much good food there, and i didnt have the appetite to eat(i can't eat when i'm tired)..luckily the caterers packed the food and gave it to us..i had it for lunch just now..Delicious!! unfortunately, we were all too busy running around doing things, we didnt get a chance to use the camera..but there was a hired photographer, cameraman and all that, so when i get my hands on the pictures, i'll come post it up here..i guess i didnt look like a freak in a sari..mind you, my sister told me that the sari that i was wearing was 400bucks..if it didnt look good, i would've freaked..

Deborah Christie Tan is officially on a plan to make me darker by the end of march hols.. The dude wants me to march under the - possibly gonna be burning hot - sun from 10 to 1 on monday and thursday..and to think i'm going to be going to sunway lagoon after 1 on monday and stay under the sun for another 4 hours..lets just say i plan to bath in sunblock that day..haha, but no worries debb, we're gonna win this thing if its the last thing we do.

anyway, had that chess meeting thing yesterday..the meeting was like the usual..met with the bb committee..talked about the tournament, budget, plans that kinda thing..but what happened after was funny..haha..see, jeya and wen yuin were going to midvalley after the meeting..they were planning to take the lrt to central then from there they were gonna take the ktm to mid..so they were talking about it at mcd's, and one guys there, he heard them and said that he was going to mid too..and asked them how they were getting there..so they told him, and he was like might as well just take the cab right..technically speaking he was suggesting they go together, share a cab..but wen yuin being the blur person that she is, didnt get his point, and we assuntarians packed up, said bye and left mcd..once we go out, thats when jeya tells wen yuin the whole lets share a cab thing to wen yuin, and suddenly wen yuin was like ya, can save money go back up there and ask the guy.

while debating on whether to go back up there(no one else wanted to go, only wen yuin), we walked to digital mall coz jeya said she wanted to buy credit..but we entered and left immediately, coz i told her that she can buy credit at 7eleven..so we walk to 7eleven, jeya buys her credit..they ask me if i wanted to go, but supposedly, my plan for the day was to go back home help my mom clean the house, and then go for the 4.30pm Jonas Brothers 3D concert experience movie at pyramid with my sis..so i tell them , to go ahead, coz i was going out later anyway..since my younger sister was in tuition at topskhool, and was finishing at 12, and it was about 11.45 then, i told the the others that i was going to wait near tuition, so they went back to mcd's..haha, i wonder what happened??i'll ask them sometime la..when i find out, i'll come update this thing..

so what happened to the jonas brothers thing..well, cleaning the house took longer than i expected..we ended up leaving at 4..had to send my sisters to dance class in bangsar..it started raining..when we reached bangsar it was 4.30..so, i was like lets just go back, i'll miss half the movie if we go to pyramid now..so my sister was like i'll take you tomorrow..but the tomorrow never comes..coz that woman is busy as hell..so, i called kom, and convinced kom(the no.1 jobro hater) to go with me..her compromise, i pay for the ticket and she gets to go shopping in pyramid..but what the heck, as long as i get to watch the movie..sure, i'm probably gonna have to face insults on the jonas brothers for a while after that from kom, but i just wanna see the movie..i've never wanted to go for a movie so bad in my life, and i even get permission from my parents, the ones who were like, are the jonas brothers gonna come out for spm?? and no one wants to go with me..anyway, thanks kom, you're a real buddy..

ok, i need to go shower..its 10.30am and i came to the comp as soon as i woke up..haha..

ohh, tests..were ok-nearing the disaster side..maths, amaths, physics, and english was ok..bio, chem, bm and sej, was, i have no words..moral was somewhere in between..i'll tell you how the results come out..or maybe not..

the first monthly tests are here..meaning, i'll be off for another week.this is just a short post so that ppl won't think the blogs dead or something.

already sat for sej, maths 2, eng, and bio..was okla..i mean, if i'd started a little earlier on the revision, i might've covered all that was to come out, but as usual, i messed up my own schedule.

no school on monday..X] but got tuition..sad..going to melaka tmr evening. coming back sunday night, or maybe monday morning..depends la..

got a new gadget..don't wanna make a big deal of it, so i'll stop there with that news..lets just say, i am soo grateful that my parents didnt even make a fuss about the whole thing.

anyway, its late..i need to go sleep..nono, i'm not on curfew or anything, i am just dead tired..i've been falling asleep in classes a lot lately too..that just proofs all my late night studying yea..haha..

the jonas brothers-3d concert experience movie came out on friday in the states..god knows when i'll watch it..read in the papers some time back, that it'll be in the theaters here around april in malaysia.

i have been a complete mess the past couple of days..whoever that freak was who stole my phone, really managed to screw up my daily routine for me..my phone was half my life, and living without it is pretty hard.no earphones at night, no texting jas over stupid things when i'm bored, no numbers to call ppl over hw, no saving song titles when i hear something new over the radio, no calling whoever is fetching me after tution to tell them the times have changed, no texts from kim asking about school stuff

anyway, my parents are coming back today!!!did i mention how happy i was yet??

the worst part, i can't even go to the airport to fetch them, i have to be stuck in tuition..this sucks..

ohh, did i mention the second group of japanese ppl came on friday..the desi boys and girls performed again..haha..along with the dance pe chanse gang..these bunch of ppl were more lively, teaching us to play the japanese drums..and according to kim, they performed a tea ceremony and teached the soran dance..haa, i was in bio doing peka while that woman was running around in the gallery with japs..haha..she's such a japanese freak i tell you..
