endured another 4 hours today, in order to get that drivers license i want soo bad.
that dude at sdc was all it will take maybe an hour..
bullshit.
i guess he didnt consider the amount of post spm students who were taking the test.
i was supposed to sit for it last thursday, but noo, the system was down..
and they just reopened today.
meaning all those who were supposed to sit for it thursday, friday, saturday, sunday and monday sat for it today.
i reached the place say 9.30am ish..
and i only sat for the test at 1.13pm.
i know the exact time coz its printed on the cert thing.
fortunately though, found some familiar faces so we kinda huddled together in one area in a quite packed exam center.
the familiar faces would be shereen, reshmin, daniel and ravin..
and while waiting made some new friends too(though i don't know any of their names, haha)..when you're tired of waiting, you'll just about talk to anyone..i found that out today.
exchanged information about colleges we're going to and all that..looks like i'm the only one going to sunway..if chitra wasn't coming with me, i dunno what i'll do.
anyway,
ravin went first..
then two groups later, it was resh and shereen..
after them it was me, and i'm guessing daniel went after me..
i don't know coz i immediately called my mom and came home after finishing the test..
couldn't sit in that place any longer.
but after 4 hours, happy to say i passed.
so now i have to do 6 hours of maintanence course and then i can do practical training..
finally, sitting in a car on the drivers side.
hopefully it comes asap.

had a good dinner at huihui's on christmas eve night..it was a bbq party so there was bbq chicken, sausages and all, and there was pizza, kajang satay and her sister made jelly..
stuffed myself happily..not soo happy about that now..then we played monopoly for awhile, but got bored and then huihui's sister brought out decks of cards so we ended up playing card games..
played heart attack..the hand sores started with that..then we moved to another eenimeenimynimo sorta game, but we had to wack each others hands and my hands got redder.
than we played some number game called seven, and again the person who lost count had to get wacked on the hand, so the pain got worse..
and the boys joined us, but they didnt really wanna beat the girls so it didnt get worse after that.
but yea, had good fun..talking education and football and korean drama's and funny korean songs.
and huihui wants to have a certain reunion that me and annchee refused to say yes to..
yea huihui, if you have it, dont invite us..i really dont wanna go to such a reunion.

and today, christmas day, went to appa's friends place, mr.williams..again, had good food there too..and amidst eating they were talking robberies, and insurances, which totally freaked me out..apparently their housing area gets a lot of thefts..there was a bloody police training quarters or something maybe 10 minutes from their place..and yet they have lots of thefts..freaky..they have like this huge dog in front, that is being trained to kill..that dog is loud, thats all i can say.

then after lunch, they dropped us off at pyramid where we met my older sister and went to watch ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS: THE SQUEAKQUAL. That really is the movie to watch, was laughing so much with the rest of the theater, that i actually kinda missed a couple of the lines, coz it was drowned by the laughter..
then ate an early dinner with my sisters at friday's and now i'm home.
that was a typical christmas day of a girl who doesnt celebrate christmas.
just like any other holiday day except with some extra lunch or dinner invitations.

except my sister suddenly needed to pee really badly(i kinda needed to pee also) that we had to miss maybe 10minutes of the movie..

so i have about 18 days left to being a person with nothing to do.
went to sunway's open day today.
instead of further looking into educational options, i ended up registering to join sunway on the 6th of january.

so who knows maybe two years from now, i'll go to uk with my sister, finish acca there, while she does her masters as she says she wants to do..

went to ashwin uncles house..he tells me i should go to australia..but the thing is, aussies recognize cpa, not acca..
and a whole lot of laughs talking about road law abiding incidents between my dad and ashwin uncle..
he says he would spend money as long as its for the children, and my dad agrees.
which brings me back to our bonding session earlier, he was all, "do you think you would need your own pc going to college now all" and i being the good girl some people say i am replied, "naah, i dont think so pa, coz akka didnt have a use for her own laptop even while acca"..
so there goes my chance at having my own pc/laptop or whatever.
haha, thats alright, i have decided, i'm gonna clear acca first, before i do anything wild or crazy..
which means avoid any distractions..
the house pc to corrupt my brains with asian drama and loud music is enough.

one good part though, i already have a friend doing cat with me..Chitra!! appa's friends daughter, who is also a good friend of mine since we went to nirmala together in form 3..thats one person i'll know.

and after quite an eventful day i would say, compared to any other post spm days, here i sit, blogging(an actual blog, with random facts of my life, and not mcfly music) and am about to corrupt my brain with more asian drama.

we were early by like an hour and a half, so we ended looking at shops..bought my sister's birthday present..earrings for jas' cousins wedding, to match her outfit..apparently its a big year end sale, but believe me, we flipped at 3/4 of the prices we saw in the shops..
wanted to buy a good new book to read, but couldn't find any that caught my eye.and the books that i wanted to buy werent even on the racks.except the book of tomorrow but its not like i'm gonna spend 70bucks for one book.thats way out of my budget.
than we kinda lost track of time and it was like 10minutes to the movie and we were running to the theater.and i still am not used to the new wing at pyramid neither is she, so we had to really find our way to the place.
finally got there, got our drinks and made our way in.comercials were still on, we made it in time, phewww.. thank goodness..
and it started..
it was really funny..there were these group of chinese teenagers behind us and they were making all the remarks about what was going on, and me and jas just kept laughing and let me tell you, we were the only ones.the theater was full, but only the ppl sitting around where we were sitting, including us, were laughing and all..
but yea it was good..comedy, action, cgi, romance..jacob really brought more character to the movies and i think this director, chris weiz, did a good job.
and as quoted by the chinese dude sitting behind me, the ending was damn potong steam wei..

haha, she and her teh tarik..because of her i actually drink tea now..no more coffee..though i still like my dose of starbucks every now and then.

anyway, i got my results..i guess they aren't soo bad..my sej, i did way better than last time. i went down for moral though(but i'll work on it)..and than maths as usual, put a smile on my face..yippee, my first A1 for trials. haven't gotten any other full results yet..but what i've got so far don't look so bad..i'm probably gonna get my physics and chem tmr..i dunno, we'll see.

had some good laughs during moral today..pn thana told us that we could see her if had any problems with our test papers..me, jas, grace and jess, we had nothing to settle with her, so we sat and chatted..i hadn't talked to grace in soo long..i even talked to jess yest and today morning, coz we wait for our moms at the same place, and came to school at the same time today..grace waits for her mom there too, but she always goes back early..i feel, if we actually do meet up next year occasionally(we have too!!), we'd still see each other more than we do now..the downs of being in separate classes and having spm come our way in like 2 months..

talked about watching 18++ movies..i'll be legal to watch them in like a bit over 4 months..looks like you and jas have to wait a whole year more grace..haha!!

after reading ms.grace lim shu ting's blog, i decided to go google up the spm timetable, because my school doesnt believe in giving it to us much earlier so that we can prepare ourselves.

anyway, she was right. it doesn't look that bad..i only have 9 days worth of exams..and here i was dreading that it would be a month long.

the time table is long, don't get me wrong..my cousin was spot on about the 80 different subjects you could pick from..but i spotted my 10 subjects, and there it was nicely taking up 9 days in between 18/11 and 09/12..

and i'm happy with the way they are spread out..days in between to study last minute things..18 and 19 nov..then 23-25 nov and finally 30 nov..then december 1, 3 and 9..

than i'll be done..all this cramming and preparing for 9 days..9 days that i might have to depend on for a good future. 9 days that could take me places(a foreign school, to study accounts).

it all comes down to 9 DAYS.

right now more than ever i fell like maybe i should've dropped bio, but obviously its too late for that, so i have to suck it up and study that subject..
but other than bio, i think i fared okay..better than midterms..except maybe physics-p2, that was kinda tough..but it was better than bio..
happy with addmaths.and mod maths.and english(though i think i might've screwed my essay a little).chem was okay.bm was okay.moral was okay.actually everything but bio was okay.
but dunno if i'll be saying the same after i get my results though.
mr.nanda asked what i got for addmaths, but i hadn't got my paper yet, so hopefully when i get it and tell him, it'll finally be in that A1(or A2 even) range..i mean, i have to at least ace my favourite subject right..

that one sorta all fell into place by itself..was a bit disappointed that most of those who said they'd come sorta backed out without saying a word..anyway, we walked to amcorp, there the person who planned it all couldn't get out of work, so we all had to stall kom for as long as possible..so we had lunch, than we to the magazine shop, and then the toy shop, where zara bought kom a fart bomb..haha..then finally we went and sat in mcd's..then i get a text from chris, saying that he was there and we quickly take her somewhere so he can come and set the cake and all..so, i using the only excuse i had in mind, told kom i had to pee and took her to the toilet..and being the me i am, i forgot my phone, left it in the table there..so i stalled for as long as possible in the toilet..dramatically wanting to dry my hands on the automatic driers, tying my hair up, then walking so slow..so after the longest i could stall, finally we went back out, and there she saw him, and she surprised!!haha, so i didnt do so bad after all..the thing is, there was another group going around amcorp, coz it was some other guys bday too, and just as we started to sing for kom, they all came out of nowhere and sang along with us..so, she had a good bday i'd say so..we ate cake, secret recipe...yumm.then sat around and talked for awhile before we left..or me, za, jas and kim left..

cupcakes.

spent almost the whole day yesterday hanging out at zara's place..had such a good time..

we baked cupcakes..we were actually gonna do it in the june(or was it july) holidays, but last minute we had to cancel it due to some problems..but we finally did it yesterday. We did everything ourselves..not instant either..we measured, mixed and everything ourselfs..we meaning zara, jas and me.

i went over there around 10.30..and then we called jas, who walked over from her place..then we started..zara's mom was soo nice, she let us have the whole kitchen to ourselves..and she kept giving us pointers as to when to do what and all..we made two batches..both turned out ok i guess..
when amma and my sis ate it last night, they said it wasnt cooked enough, but hey, it was our first time..it couldnt have been perfect right..

anyway, we finished at about 2.30..had an awesome time decorating our cupcakes with icing and all..we had, blue, pink, green and yellow icing..super bright colours..

the we cleaned up aunty shanti's kitchen for her..at 3 we ate lunch..chicken briyani and salad..yumm..then we sat and watched tv, and talked and gossipped..zara's mom made strawberry shakes for us, and we ended up making milk-staches and took pictures..

then we talked summore, and at around 4 jas had to leave..so we walked her down to the guard house..then me and zara went back up..continued the talking, watching tv and gossipping thing..

then my appa and amma called a couple times..apparently there was massive traffic in kl(usual political problems)..soo they might be late to fetch me..see, i actually had tuition at 5.30..and amma was gonna fetch me at 5 and then drop me off at tutition, but because of traffic, she only came at like 6..so i talked it out with her, that i would skip class..coz going late would mean, getting yelled..but suddenly amma was like, technically there was bad traffic, she wont yell..so i had to go after all..and luckily she didnt..but it was a big class, so i ended up sitting alone in the side..and class was supposed to finish at 8.30, but she dragged it till 9..

came home from tuition and spent some time with amma watching tv..waited for my sis to get back..she did..then they commented on my cupcakes..told me it was too sweet..that there was more icing then cupcakes..lol..

then ya, i went to bed..now i'm up in the morning..just finished my bio tuition hw..and had nothing to do..

i should've blogged about this last sunday, but i got lazy..and i had tuition and all that, so yea, no time..

so the nagarathar nite 2(this cultural nite organized by the youths from our temple org) was held last saturday..it was one long day, but all was worth it in the end i suppose.

usually i wouldn't have involved myself with such activities, being all lazy and all, but my sister, somehow ended up being head of deco for the day, so being the loyal little sister, i agreed to help her out..only to find out, that i was also part of the PRO team, coz deco was the before event duty.. so i was standing behind the buffet table, watching ppl come and take food and drinks..

so at the end, i sat at the back during the show..and saw miniature figures dancing and singing on stage..even sara looked pretty small, and he is super tall..he was one of the mc that night.

i'll be more specific and start from the beginning yea..

so at 7.30 in the morning, my sister, cousin sister, their friend and i got into the blue atos and drove to muzium negara. The event was held at the Auditorium Muzium Negara. freaking cold in there wei..anyway, they were only giving us the hall at 10..so why we ended up there at 8am i'm still wondering..so waiting for 10 to come, we unloaded all the things..the rest of the committee were there also.at round 9, we had briefing on what we'd all be doing..i was in the 'Starzz' team..we had to stick the stars around the banner on stage..and i also drew an elvis for the event..

oh i forgot..the theme for the event was Nostalgic 70's and 80's..which explains the elvis..but if you know me, than you probably know of my sucky artistic abilities, so the 'Mr. Elvis Presley' just looked like some random cartoon figure..so when stage and deco was all done, they had rehearsals, and let me tell you, things weren't looking good..but like they say, all good things come to a good end, and soo, the show ran smoothly..

we all started dressing up at around 5pm..dinner was at 6 and the show at 7pm..once i changed and all, quickly went out to the food tent, and started helping out there..there some mess around the vip table, but we sorted it out, by the time the vips came(who one of em, happens to be my dentist, X] )..after food, i hung around with my sister and all out there for awhile, then when the event was about to start, i went in, and sat in the last row with a few other crew members..my sister and all were performing and stuff, so most of em were backstage for most of the event..

then it was about to finish, when siva, my PRO teammate, came and said that all the crew were gonna go on stage for the final bow, so go backstage now..so we all go backstage..and the on stage..the curtains were close and we were all like, 'What to do??'..the somebody goes, lets all just sit or pose or something like that, so we all just sat and striked some pose, and the curtains opened..people applauded for us, and then one of em sang a tamil 80's song..and we all got up and danced on stage with a music a bit..then we all were like awkward, lets go in, lets go in..so we all go in..then we go out to the seats and thank all the people we see for coming that night..

then as usual, the cleaning up process came..my nails still hurt from peeling off two-way tapes from the walls..when we finished it was like close to 11.30pm..then everyone started taking pictures..i was the cameraperson again..who knew you could sweat from taking pictures..

amma left at around midnight..and i tailed my sisters with my new friends to nirwana, bangsar for supper..those fella are like number one jokers..seriously, why didnt i befriend them before..hanging out with them for one night could leave you with stomach aches from all the laughing..

came home at 2 i think..then amma and akka sat and did a review off the days event, but i had tuition at 10.30 in the morning sunday, so i went to bed..slept quite blissfully too, until i had to wake up.. X]
